Covers loss or damage to the items, materials or items supplied by the principal(s), construction plant and equipment, construction machinery, or any part thereof contained in the schedule of the policy, from any cause other than those specifically excluded, in a manner necessitating repair or replacement.

Usually covered are:

1. The contract works i.e ongoing contract work
2. Third party damage liabilities
3. Employees’ clothing and personal effects

This policy may be extended to cover the cost of clearance of debris following upon any event giving rise to claim under the policy
