Dr. Adaobi Vivian Nwakuche, in her position as Managing Director/CEO of Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the Company and its operations, geared towards ensuring profitability and long-term value creation for shareholders.

A distinguished insurance executive with over twenty-six (26) years of extensive industry experience, she is a results-driven business transformation and turnaround strategist with a proven track record of revitalising underperforming organisations, building high-growth businesses, and transforming promising businesses into sustainable and successful companies.

With a strong track record in organisational restructuring, strategic partnerships and alliances, business development, and organisational leadership, Dr. Adaobi specialises in developing practical strategies that restore performance, strengthen operations, and create long-term value.

AHer wealth of experience reflects a deep understanding of the insurance business. Known for building high-performance teams, strengthening organisational structures, improving operational efficiency, and creating sustainable growth strategies, Dr. Adaobi brings a hands-on approach to business transformation, working across strategy, people, processes, finance, and technical operations to reposition organisations for growth. These skills were acquired across several leading national organisations.

Before joining Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, Dr. Adaobi Nwakuche was the immediate past and pioneer Managing Director/CEO of Heirs Insurance Limited, where she orchestrated the strategic direction of the Company.
Her career spanning over two decades includes experience garnered as Executive Director at Heirs Holdings Group, Director of the Commercial Division at Equity Assurance, as well as other high-level positions at STACO Insurance and Standard Alliance Insurance Company Limited.

A seasoned business executive with an enviable track record of achieving exceptional results, Dr. Adaobi earned her first degree in Government and Public Administration from Abia State University. She furthered her education by earning an MBA in Business Administration from ESUT Business School. She holds a Doctorate in Insurance, Risk Management and Corporate Governance from European American University.
She is also a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (CII), and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrators. She is a Member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), as well as a Member of the Governing Council of Coal City University.

Dr. Adaobi is an alumna of Harvard Kennedy School and Lagos Business School. She has attended various national and international executive-level training programmes and seminars.
She has also received several prestigious awards and honours across various fields in recognition of her professional achievements and leadership.
