Sylvia Nwachukwu heads VKA’s Business Development and sales activities in the Southern region of the country.

A seasoned professional with over two decades of insurance knowledge and expertise in portfolio management; product and business development, and sales and marketing; acquired across leading international and local organizations.

Preceding her appointment as Head, Business Development (South) at Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, her insurance work experience spanned cuts across reputable Insurance Underwriters such as Wapic Insurance Plc (now Coronation Insurance); and Allianz Nigeria where she occupied various leadership positions where she built and managed high performing teams before joining Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc as a member of Executive Management in 2023

Earning her First degree in B.Sc. Sociology from the University of Calabar. Sylvia is also a member of various professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). Sylvia also holds a certificate in Organizational Leadership from the prestigious Harvard Business School and has also undergone various Leadership courses at the renowned Lagos Business School.
